Growing up in Maine in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, we learned to live each day like it was the only one left. Snowtires, thick wetsuits, fresh wax on the boards, and a tight rhythm section were several of the ingredients used to make our recipe for good times. As time flew, we realized that if we wanted to continue enjoying the glorious wild, we had to learn and practice true caretaking for our land, air, and water. To maintain our mountain and coastal explorations, we became most environmentally responsible. We began recycling and reusing everything from scrap metals to compost. We salvaged old barns for their stones, timbers and grayboard. Then we started recycling used veggie oil into biodiesel. It was clear that this renewable bio-fuel was a much needed solution to current pollution problems and municipal waste water dilemmas. With our hearts in tune we proposed to share our fuel with all.
